Give two of your favorite foods a healthy makeover. Lose weight without feeling like you're depriving yourself with these two smart tips.

Salad dressing: When you’re halfway done with your favorite vinaigrette, fill up the rest of the bottle with balsamic vinegar. You still get the taste of the dressing but with about 30 percent fewer calories.

Soda: Love regular pop but can’t afford the calories? Try adding just a splash of it to your cup and filling up the rest with seltzer. A little goes a long way, and the mixture might soon become your beverage of choice.
